Goodbye March and Hello Spring—What better way to celebrate than with an Easter DIY!
I know I’m not the only one dreaming of the days when we can talk about things other than case numbers, risks and uncertainty. For now, let’s focus on the hope that spring brings with it and keep busy with some Easter DIYs!
The past year and a half has taught me that I will do everything I possibly can to keep my team safe, even if it ruffles some feathers about us not reopening during the different phases of lockdown. And, I have learned that each of you and the Ottawa community loves and supports local businesses including our flower shop and that you will do everything you can to keep us going.
I have also learned that flowers can be a lifeline between people, that they can make one feel a sense of normalcy and they can celebrate so many things—big and small. I have learned even more that flowers really do talk when we don’t know what to say (that’s where the name Flowers Talk comes from)!
