A Look Inside Flowers Talk Tivoli
Where do I start? I feel like now, more than ever, the store is my home. It has been my safe place, it has brought me comfort, it has brought me strength- and I can’t wait to welcome you back in.
Welcome back into the shop! We can’t wait for you to come to visit us, but until then, here’s a sneak peek of some of our favourite corners of the store.
I absolutely love this big long cabinet that used to be at Kitchenalia. When they were moving to their new space and offered it to me, I felt like I had won the jackpot. The whole unit is custom made with mitered corners and handcrafted. You can still see the old spice names on the drawers.
This white table in the centre and the white cabinet on the side is where like to show off local and Canadian makers. Supporting small businesses is important to me!
This centre table gets filled with plants and used to be where I hosted my workshops before they went virtual. I love this table not only because it can hold so many beautiful pots and plants, but it was made with love by my husband and son.
Everything from room mists and candles made locally in Ottawa, to chocolate bars crafted in Almonte to bath bombs and soaps from Manitoba.
And last but not least, the “piece de resistance”, our beloved floral cooler. This is the true show stopper for every flower lover as it changes so much with the colours and availability of the season. The flowers in the cooler this week range from Canadian grown to beauties from Holland and Ecuador. We are bursting with blooms to send for Easter and Passover or to add to your own festive table.
