DIY Your Own Winter Garland
Today I want to show you how to take a simple looking garland and make it look fantastic for the holidays.
This DIY is super easy and doesn’t take much time either!
So grab your supplies from the list below and follow along with this video I did with Mary Taggart on CTV Morning Live with Jasmine Rose.
What you’ll need:
- An artificial Garland
- Greens (I used magnolia, eucalyptus and Juniper)
- Optional: ornaments, ribbons
- Gloves
Your first step to this DIY is to grab your artificial garland and lay it out in front of you and fluff up the branches.
Once your branches are fluffed, gather your greens in small bundles and lay them flat against your garland.
Hold your greens where you want them and grab two branches of the garland to use its wires like a twist tie and twist them around your greens.
This will hold your greens in place and once you add them all in it will create this beautiful mix ready to hang.
Here we just added greens in but you can add any flair that you like along with your greens such as ornaments or ribbons.
