Every year, we are honoured to be a part of Homes for the Holidays, an annual fundraising event to raise money for Hospice Care Ottawa. Tivoli has been a part of this event since Homes for the Holidays began in 2002!

We have decorated many private homes and Embassies in Ottawa and this tour is one of the biggest fundraisers for Hospice Care.

The tour was virtual last year and will be virtual again this year. That means you don’t need to brave the cold and snow to see these homes!

A lot of planning and preparation goes into decorating someone else’s home and it is an event that the team and I look forward to with renewed excitement every year.

I love seeing the variety of homes we get to decorate in the different neighbourhoods around the city. This year, we got to decorate close to home in Westboro, which was really special to the team and me.

When it comes to decorating someone else’s home, we love to work with the homeowners existing decor and compliment it by using accent pieces from the store. This year, we added a beautiful harvest table, rustic arrangements and of course, some winter greenery to highlight the home’s beauty.

Grab a few friends, your favourite beverage and virtually explore all the Homes for the Holidays!
