We are fortunate to participate in an initiative that raises money for Hospice Care Ottawa, and we can not wait for this year’s Homes for the Holidays to begin!

What is “Homes for the Holidays”?

Homes for the Holidays is an event where ticket holders can walk through homes decorated for the holiday season by local florists in the Ottawa area. All proceeds are then donated to Hospice Care Ottawa, an end-of-life care program.

We have decorated many private homes and Embassies in Ottawa, but this event is the one we most look forward to as it is one of the biggest fundraisers for Hospice Care.

This is a virtual tour that you can explore from the comfort of your own home. That means you don’t need to brave the cold to take part and experience the magic our community creates.

Much planning and preparation go into decorating someone else’s home, an event that the team and I look forward to with renewed excitement every year since its start in 2002.

It’s always a thrill to see the variety of homes we are fortunate to decorate in the different neighbourhoods around the city. Watch the tour to see which location we designed this year.

Decorating someone’s home allows us to work with a homeowner’s existing decor and breathe new life with accent pieces from our shelves.
