This week’s tablescape has a Nautical feel to it and I am loving it.
Growing up spending summers at our family cottage and now living along the water, this is totally my style. I have always felt most calm by the water and you will always find some type of nautical decor in my home.
That’s why I’m showing you how you can bring the nautical theme to your own home or backyard!
These beautiful centrepieces that Jennifer created are filled with white peonies, blue thistle, mock orange, scabiosa, and a mixture of different types of eucalyptus. It was designed in a reusable rattan container that matches the pattern in the chairs.
Small bud vases placed along the table add nicely without taking up too much space. They can be easily moved to allow for food platters and beverages. I placed shells in clusters to add texture on the blue and white table runner as well.
I picked up this cute little sailboat at a garage sale a couple of years ago and it sits in a glass cabinet in my kitchen. This seemed like the perfect time to bring it out! Pieces of driftwood adorned with small airplants sit pretty on my plates to add that perfect touch of texture and pop of green.
What part of this table is your favourite? Let me know in the comments!
