14″ Birdsnest Fern

The Birdnest Fern gets its name from the rosette shape its wavy, glossy, apple green fronds grow into, resembling a nest. It has a lush, tropical look and is a bit sturdier than many other ferns.

Care: This one prefers medium, indirect light, direct sun will scorch the fronds. Keep the soil consistently moist and give it as much humidity as you can, a bathroom or a spot near a humidifier works well. Avoid touching the delicate new fronds unfurling in the center, they bruise easily.

Good news for pet owners: Birdnest Ferns are considered non-toxic to cats and dogs.
