The Maranta Rouge, or Red Prayer Plant (Maranta leuconeura var. erythroneura), is admired for its striking red veins and green leaves with a unique herringbone pattern. It gets its name because the leaves fold up at night, resembling praying hands.

Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil starts to dry out. It enjoys higher humidity, so misting the plant or using a humidifier is beneficial.

Lighting: Maranta Rouge thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can fade its vibrant leaf colors. It can tolerate lower light but may grow more slowly.
