4″ Basil – Lettuce

This Lettuce Leaf Basil has large, ruffled leaves, bigger and softer than classic basil, making it easy to tear straight into a salad or a sandwich.

Care: Give it as much bright light as possible, a sunny windowsill is ideal. Keep the soil lightly moist, basil doesn’t like to dry out completely, and pinch off flower buds as they appear to keep the leaves coming.

Basil is a culinary herb and is generally considered safe, though it’s always best to keep any plant out of reach of pets that like to nibble on greenery.
