4″ Begonia Maculata Pink Spot

Begonia Maculata Pink Spot is a showstopper: silver polka-dot leaves on top, deep red undersides, and tall cane-like stems that give it real architectural presence. It’s one of those plants people stop and ask about.

Maculata has a reputation for being a little particular, but give it the right conditions and it rewards you with steady new growth and that unmistakable spotted look.

Care: Bright indirect light brings out the best color and keeps growth strong. Let the top inch of soil dry out between waterings; Maculata doesn’t love soggy feet. It also enjoys extra humidity, so a bathroom or a spot near a humidifier works well. One note for pet owners: Begonia Maculata is mildly toxic to cats and dogs due to soluble calcium oxalates, so keep it out of reach of curious noses.
