Light conditions: Hemigraphis Purple Waffle prefers bright indirect light, but will burn in direct sunlight. If placed in too low of light conditions, it could lose some of the rich purple colouring.
Watering conditions: Purple waffle plants require moderately moist soil all year-round to help keep their healthy leaves and foliage lush.In the summer, water the plant to 1/4 inch below the surface whenever the soil feels barely damp. Water deeply by adding water until it drains from the drainage holes.
