With its bronzy red heart shaped leaves, this fun and easy trailing philodendron is a great addition for any plant collector. Philodendron Micans can grow up to 2 feet indoors. One of the most popular and more difficult to find varieties of Philodendrons.
Light conditions: Philodendron Micans will thrive in medium indirect light. They can handle brighter light if it is filtered. Direct light will burn the leaves and cause permanent damage. Lower light will cause the leaves to stay dark green while in bright lighter, the leaves will darken to a deep red.
Watering conditions: Philodendron Micans soil must be kept moist at all times, but do not let it sit in water or your plant will rot. Your Micans will let you know when it needs water, the leaves will turn inwards and become soft, once that happens, give it a good water and then let it dry out.
