6″ Desert Rose

The Desert Rose, or Adenium, has a swollen, sculptural base that stores water, topped with glossy leaves and vivid pink trumpet shaped flowers when in bloom, a striking succulent with real personality.

Care: Bright light, including plenty of direct sun, keeps the blooms coming. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings, this plant is quite drought tolerant and does not like sitting wet.

A note for pet owners: Desert Rose is toxic to cats and dogs if ingested, the sap is also irritating to skin, so keep it well out of reach.
