6″ Leather Leaf Fern

Best known as a staple in floral arrangements, the Leatherleaf Fern also makes a striking houseplant in its own right. Its deep green, leathery fronds have a rich, structured texture and hold up beautifully over time, giving this fern a more polished look than some of the softer, feathery varieties.

This one comes in a 6″ pot, ready to find its spot in your home.

Care basics

Leatherleaf Fern does best in bright, indirect light, it’ll tolerate lower light too, just expect slower, less lush growth. Keep the soil consistently moist, watering once the top inch feels dry, and make sure it has good drainage so it never sits in standing water. Unlike many ferns, this one doesn’t demand high humidity, making it a bit more forgiving for drier homes.

Sources vary on toxicity for this plant, so as a general precaution, we recommend keeping it out of reach of pets and little ones.
