6″ Philodendron Brasil

Philodendron Brasil is the fun, colourful sibling in the heartleaf philodendron family, with bright green leaves streaked in lime and gold variegation. It’s an easy, fast-growing climber that looks just as good trailing off a shelf as it does trained up a pole.

This one comes in a 6″ pot, ready to start climbing, trailing, or filling out your plant collection.

Care

Philodendron Brasil thrives in medium to bright indirect light, and can handle brighter light if it’s filtered, but direct sun will burn the leaves and cause permanent damage. Let the top quarter of the soil dry out between waterings, it’s easy to over water this one, so a chunky mix with extra perlite or orchid bark helps with drainage. It enjoys extra humidity but adapts well to normal home conditions. Keep it out of reach of pets, it’s toxic if chewed or ingested.
