6″ Philodendron Cordatum

Philodendron Cordatum is the sweetheart of the philodendron family, literally. Its dark green, heart-shaped leaves and easy, cascading growth make it one of the most forgiving houseplants you can bring home. This one has a fuller, bushier shape, so it fills out a pot beautifully instead of just trailing.

It’s a classic for a reason: fast growing, low maintenance, and just as happy on a shelf as it is on a desk.

Care

Philodendron Cordatum handles everything from low to bright indirect light, though it thrives best in medium indirect light. Direct sun will burn the leaves, and too little light will leave them floppy and pale. Let the top inch of soil dry out between waterings, and it appreciates a bit of extra humidity but adapts fine to average home conditions. Keep it away from pets and small children, it’s toxic if chewed or ingested.
