6″ Spider Plant in Hanging Basket

The Spider Plant is a true classic, and for good reason. Its arching, variegated leaves have a graceful, fountain-like shape, and mature plants send out long stems tipped with baby “spiderettes” that dangle beautifully from a hanging basket. It’s low-fuss, fast-growing, and one of the easiest plants to keep thriving.

This one comes ready to hang in a 6″ basket, perfect for a bright spot where its trailing leaves and plantlets can cascade freely.

Care basics

Spider Plants do best in bright, indirect light, though they’ll tolerate medium or lower light too, just expect slower growth and fewer babies. Water once the top inch of soil has dried out, and let it drain well. One small tip: Spider Plants are sensitive to the fluoride in tap water, which can cause browning at the leaf tips, so filtered or distilled water will keep your plant looking its best.

This one is also completely safe for homes with cats and dogs, making it a great choice for pet owners looking to fill their space with greenery.
