Happy Spring!
I know, you must think that I am crazy, but in the floral world we are usually working one season ahead.
Gone are the amaryllis and poinsettias and out come the potted tulips, muscari and daffodils.

Spring is truly my favourite season of the year – not just the promise of the beautiful weather to come, but the bounty of all the delicious florals that it offers.
When you walk into our shop these days, you will be greeted with an abundance of tropical plants, from specialty ferns to ficus and monstera to cacti and succulents.

Some of my highlights of the cooler this week are mimosa, lisianthus, daffodils, hellebores, Iris, Scabosia, PEI tulips and hyacinth.
Stop by and say hi, breath in the air, and listen to the fountains and lovebird. Because it just feels good.

Tip to make your spring bouquet flowers last longer: When bringing spring flowers home, give them a fresh cut and put them in cold water. Spring flowers don’t last as long if they are put in warm water. Also, keep them away from a heat source, as they tend to blow open quickly.
