Thanksgiving is a wonderful time of year! There’s nothing better than being surrounded by great people, and delicious food! We thought we’d help you celebrate by sharing some Thanksgiving holiday decor inspiration!
There is a lot going on at the store this week! We were on the CTV morning show, we are providing the flowers for Michelle Obama for her talk in Ottawa, and we are gearing up for a busy Thanksgiving weekend. I wanted to share some ideas on how you can incorporate flowers into your Thanksgiving holiday decor!
We enjoy mixing dried flowers with fresh and live plants. We decorated these little guys with a mix of strawflowers, succulents, antique hydrangeas, Chinese lanterns, wheat, Gomphrena, and viburnum berries. The succulents can be taken off and planted in soil after the holiday is done.
Here we did something a bit more traditional for the fall season by carving out pumpkins and adding in florals. We used a mix of crap ales, berries, spray roses and greenery.
We love mixing things up and adding in some things that you wouldn’t usually expect. Here we mixed thistle with free spirit roses, skimmia, Chinese lantern and orange pincushion protea.
Last, but not least, a bright fall mix that would suit any Thanksgiving holiday decor! We mixed red dahlias, hot pink celosia, free spirit garden roses, yellow sunflowers and red Amaranthus. If you would like to learn how to create this centrepiece yourself, click here!
