Decorating for a Canada Day barbecue should be effortless and laidback. Think relaxed and fun!
I like a theme as much as the next girl, but sometimes too much can be a little overwhelming. That’s why I’m sharing my Canada Day tablescape with you to show you it can be easy yet still festive!
When I was planning up this tablescape, I was trying to figure out how to incorporate red and white without being too over the top, but I am a Canadian girl so there were some staples that I just had to include.
The coasters, napkins and the little Canada confetti are all from Village Quire. I like how the coasters can be used for decor but then reused as well or gifted to someone for their cottage or rustic decor. The confetti was nice and heavy so didn’t blow off the table when a gust of wind picked up. And the napkins were thick enough to clean up any bbq sauce. Go see Molly at the Village Quire, she has lots of cute things to add to your table.
This little utensil bucket worked well to fill with the same mockorange branches, little bridal gladiolus and pops of red with the miniature gerbera daisies. And who can say no to a maple leaf cheese board?
I love how the mix of peonies, mock orange and eucalyptus look in this simple white jug. And no Canada Day table would be complete without some local beer to decorate with and enjoy!
